When a man has sought and found beauty at the ends of the earth, it dawns on him that there’s no point seeking more. More doesn’t equate to happiness, and usually, isn’t our deepest value.
What is?
I believe that the end of this Ars Amorata journey comes when we no longer seek beauty to fill us, to complete us… but we learn to unfold the beauty that lay within us, and offer this very male beauty to the world through our leadership, our art, our intimate moments, and in our simple way of being. This is what we mean when we talk of restoring beauty in this world.
After all, ‘what is the beauty in a man?’
‘A lifelong devotion to a personal passion, a passion larger than him, larger than her, larger than the whole wide world, a passion that radiates from his pores until the day he dies.’ (~Zan)
What is your destiny? What will become of your legacy?
