Film Night! — Online

I’m offering a Film Night to all members and to our whole Ars Amorata audience. To attend, make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter (find the sign-up form on our website homepage), and you’ll start getting emails about the Film Night from November 8th, until the recording is released on Nov 19th.

This season’s film will be announced on Sunday, November 10th. It’s a movie that works on two levels: one, we see the greatest scenes of polarity and sub-communication that a movie seducer has ever given us. This aspect is so instructional. But what’s also instructional is the second level: the psychological and emotional underpinnings that create his whole power over women. Where does a man’s desire to seduce come from? And what unresolved issues secretly fuel your desire for women… shadow dynamics that get you closer to what you want, but leave you always knocking on the door, never quite getting.

You are then expected to watch the film between Monday 11th, and before the group ’roundtable’ call on Sunday 17th. I’ll discuss some of the film’s themes via email that week, and on the roundtable call I’ll share some clips and facilitate discussion. The roundtable itself is usually very rich, and will last for three hours.
