Background

FOR THE DEDICATED…

If the Ars Amorata is a lifelong journey of seeking beauty… via our love for women and through creating a passionate and authentic life… where does that lead us? Is there an endpoint to this quest?

I believe so.

If you know what it’s like to be loved by a woman, to taste the sublime and become intimate with that kind of moment, it does something to your soul. Past folly becomes alien to you; meaningless work is even less possible to stomach. Once you’ve glimpsed the fire, a longing begins in you to give back.

It is a motivation to carry the torch onto others, to make sure the legacy spreads. That other men, in all the vagueties of the word, ‘get it’. Dare I say, wrapped in this hunger for purpose, you long to experience yourself give your own beauty fully… at least a few times in your life.

A friend of mine once asked, how do you know if you’re having a good business year? I didn’t quite know how to respond. Metrics open possibilities in your life, but they are not the ultimate source of success.

If I break open in tears, say half-a-dozen times in a year, because of the beauty I have given through my work… then that would have been a good year. To feel fully given in life, through our full engagement and devotion: that feels like a meaningful metric!

Yet many of us are stuck in jobs that aren’t in alignment with what we know we want to give. Even if we do have the ‘dream business’, it is easy to drop out of alignment because our inner habits separate us from meaning, turning our dreams into to-do lists. We lose passion for our business or art because of its demands, because we don’t feel arrived, because we become attached or addicted to something about our work. We dry out, and require an aesthetic infusion once more.

Thoughout my younger life, a number of artists, entrepreneurs and thinkers touched me deeply. I was shown that work didn’t have to be toil — that work could bring about the sublime — and these people who went before me left a tattered map of where to go.

Now, in the middle of my life, I hear the clock turning. I have less to go than has already been, death and decline feel certain rather than vague notions I could easily dismiss, and the value of my time is now greater than the value of my money.

The stakes of your life are rising.

In The 'Foundations of Aesthetic Leadership' we address:

In this two-hour Masterclass, you will have the chance to reflect on your vision, your leadership skills, your work-in-the-world, and your legacy. These are enormous questions that have deep ties with a man’s feeling of his own significance, so we will press slowly and bravely into questions that many men never dare to ask. After a decade of coaching men, I can assert that — on the whole — our conflicts around work produce much more suffering than our conflicts around women.

This Masterclass ties the themes of beauty, spirituality, art and leadership in a new way. We have never opened this topic before in the history of the Ars Amorata, and I am excited to offer this to you now. Via a couple of short lectures, an interactive group exercise, and plenty of Q&A discussion, you will explore not just how to infuse what you know about beauty into the product of your work… but how you treat your team, delight your customers, and give flavour to the passing of your days.

After all, what if your work were not only a source of income, or even just a way of servicing those you care about…

… but an act of theatre, of cinema, a poem; a love-letter from you to the future of humanity?

So come and join me, and let’s get to the essence of your very motivation in the world.

How the MASTERCLASS Works

The Foundations of Aesthetic Leadership is a recorded Masterclass, including almost an hour of preparatory materials, and a 1-hour 40minute live session, hosted by Jordan Luke Collier.

Following the introduction of a new leadership paradigm, we open a wide space for discussion on the topics of aesthetics and leadership… answering your questions, challenging you with my own, and exploring through conversation how you can derive more meaning, more beauty, and more transformation through your work and your leadership.

Even though you’ll be on a webinar with many others, the fact that we are like minds, all gathered around one essential topic, means that you will pluck insights from everyone’s questions and answers — not just your own. Come prepared for a rich and a fast-paced time, and take plenty of notes. In the follow-up, you will also receive a number of specific practice and assignments that you can do, to implement the ideas from this Masterclass into your life.

You get full access to this digital recording as soon as your purchase goes through.

Two-hour Interactive Zoom Session with Q+A

The Masterclass group format is compelling and energising: watch your own deeper questions be answered while someone else is being coached. Capture the excitement energy of a whole group learning with the same aspirations as you.

ABOUT

JORDAN LUKE COLLIER

Interested in life’s bigger questions, I took my undergraduate degree in philosophy.

Whatcha gonna do with that? was the response from family members and the like, and it was the question that gnawed me deep down, too. I knew I loved beauty. I knew I loved love, the mystery of transformation, and living the good life. But how would I tie together my passions, and deliver them in a world that seemed to prioritise hustle culture, corporations, and the rat race?

I wanted to change the world for the better, but I didn’t know how. I knew there was a need for beauty, but it seemed to exist at the margins, and I didn’t believe I could bring my own beauty — whatever that was, anyway.

Yet by following the breadcrumb trail and following my truth, I slowly found mentors, communities, opportunities, to test my knowledge, my leadership and my know-how. I was set to become a inter-cultural coach and consultant (based in Brazil) when I came across the Ars Amorata. As I deepened my psychological and spiritual understanding through these years of ‘figuring out women’, I began to realise not only that artistic expression was more satisfying than troubleshooting coaching and personal development, but I realised that the leaders who put time and devotion in the ‘aesthetics’ of their work seem to create a wider and more impactful legacy. I discovered that when I gave myself fully to a piece of writing or a retreat I was running, sometimes — just sometimes — I would have that feeling of cracking open at the beauty we had shared.

This was one of my early learnings of Legacy: that greatness is not just about creating an artefact, or getting your name on a hospital or park bench. Legacy occurs when you guide others to a sort of sublime moment: an experience that no-one will ever forget.

This is the conversation that fills my days.

So come and join me for an excited and a thorough exploration of your 'Aesthetic Leadership' in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Masterclass session runs for exactly two hours. There is an opening lecture of around thirty minutes, followed by a short break-out exercise, and the rest will be open Q&A, with possibly a little coaching thrown in to those who share.

Yes. The entire Masterclass session will be recorded and uploaded to our membership portal. Uploads will be complete within 24 hours from the end of the event, and will be available for 180 days.

Yes. We will convert the recording and the follow-up resources into a digital product, and make it available on the Ars Amorata store. The recording will be available to purchase for 180 days after the live event. The product recordings will be taken down on October 1st, 2023.

We are expecting some 50-60 people to join us for this webinar. So of course, not everyone can share. If you want to share, you can type your question into the Q&A box during the zoom call, or put your hand up. The moderator will choose the order of the audience questions/shares.

This doesn’t present a problem. We usually discuss a variety of questions that apply to most people on the call — and even if you don’t share, usually by the end of the 2 hours, all the necessary content has been covered. The Masterclass isn’t meant to tackle individual situations in depth, but to give you a framework and some new perspectives from which you can start thinking freshly about travel.

In addition to joining the Masterclass, feel free to email me to book a private coaching session. I have availability over the coming months.

You are welcome to join the Masterclass in listen-only mode. You don’t need to turn your camera on, although you will be invited to a break-out group conversation, which will help to make the Masterclass themes relate to you in a more personal way.

If this is the first programme you have purchased through Ars Amorata, you will receive a log-in code to our platform shortly after you sign up. Feel free to have a look around the platform, and press the question icon within the platform if you require any help. Hopefully, the navigation of the site is straight-forward. Then, a day after the live Masterclass, you will receive a link to the recordings, and your account will gain access to the Masterclass recordings page. After the event, you will also be added to a private group, where you can message other participants, and post your questions on the group feed.

The Masterclass goes live on Saturday 1st April, 2023, at 4pm Central European Summer Time. The call will be exactly two hours.

You will receive a notification 48 hours before we go live for the Masterclass, containing the log-in codes. You will receive another notification an hour before the Masterclass, so that the log-in code sits at the top of your inbox as we go live.

Please ‘whitelist’ any email communication from Ars Amorata, to ensure the codes reach your main inbox (and don’t get lost in some promotions tab).

No problem, we will post a video recording onto our member’s platform 24 hours after the live Masterclass. You will have access to the recordings until July 1st, 2023.

When you register, we will send detailed instructions for downloading Zoom onto your computer or phone. You can also find helpful information and tips at Zoom’s Help Center.
