1. Purpose of this Notice
1.1 This Notice is given by Ars Amorata International SRL (the "Controller") pursuant to Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, implementing Directive 2002/58/EC, and pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
1.2 It sets out the cookies and equivalent technologies employed upon the website at arsamorata.com (the "Site").
2. Definition
2.1 A cookie is a small text file placed upon the terminal equipment of a user by a website. Equivalent technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels, and references in this Notice to cookies include them.
3. Consent
3.1 This Site does not employ analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind, and does not profile its visitors.
3.2 Such cookies as are placed are strictly necessary for the operation of the Site or for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user, and are placed without consent as permitted by Article 4(5) of Law no. 506/2004.
3.3 Should the Controller in future employ any cookie which is not strictly necessary, prior consent will be sought by a clear affirmative act, and this Notice will be amended accordingly.
4. Third-party content
4.1 Certain pages incorporate content served by third parties, which may place cookies of their own:
- Google Ireland Limited, in respect of typefaces served by Google Fonts;
- Google Ireland Limited, in respect of links to video content hosted on YouTube. No video is embedded upon this Site, and no YouTube cookie is placed unless the user follows such a link;
- Amorati.me, in respect of access to the course, where purchased.
4.2 The processing of personal data by such third parties is governed by their own policies and not by this Notice.
5. Browser controls
5.1 All commonly used browsers permit the refusal, restriction or deletion of cookies, ordinarily under settings relating to privacy or security. The blocking of all cookies will impair the functioning of most websites.
